I've been using my "Balefire" moniker less and less since 2012, and now rarely touch it or log in anywhere, or post art. BUT I do still post art; It just isn't Balefire art really, whatever that means.

Best Ways To Stay In Touch

Hey! I usually don't post anything too meaningful in this journal or even on my DA account too frequently. But I wanted to take a moment to point out the best ways to stay up with me and give everyone a way to stay in touch with me as well.
I have my updating system pretty well-oiled and regular, which is: post to my BalefireArt Facebook page, which then also sends to my Tumblr blog and my Twitter (BalefireArt). I'm also moderately active on mintees.com and bandjob.com, but nowhere near as much as those first three.
My website/portfolio is also hosted on Tumblr - the URLs are different - the main portfolio page is balefireart.tumblr.com, which you can follow if you like, just as you would any other tumblr, but I only update that with finished, polished, portfolio-caliber pieces. The other one (balefireblog.tumblr.com) is fed straight from my facebook page and Twitter, and I sometimes make actual blog posts there as well. I'd say the absolute best way to stay in touch with me and my art is the facebook page, but if you do go to like it, be sure to mouse over the like button afterward and select "Show In News Feed". But it's all pretty linked together. So just know that I truly appreciate your support and interest in my work. You adding me to your Deviant Watch list alone means a lot to me, so thank you!!!
Anyway, thanks for your time and hopefully I get to talk to some of you guys over in my social network sties and on my streams!

Tablet Review: Monoprice 12x9

I just received my new Monpprice tablet and have been very pleased with the results.

I definitely recommend this tablet as a legitimate competitor to the Intuos series from Wacom. And at the price of $89 (at the time of purchase), it's hard to imagine this isn't one of the best deals in digital art hardware.
